Saving Judge Judith (Open To: All Players)

Yes, we all assumed the judge was a man because we are sexist. But, since Constable Harken offered a reward for "her ring" I'm going to assume she's actually a she.

So, here's what we know:

• Judge Judith is willing to put Harken's men on trial. Harken doesn't like this and has put out a general reward for Judith's ring, with the finger still attached. I'm going to assume this also means that he wants her dead, but it could be a warning shot over the bow to get Judge Judith to wise up before something truly terrible happens. In either case, we can't let evil pressure the only honest judge in town.
• We are lead to believe that Harken will not be participating in this excursion.
• There are several local bandit gangs that have shown interest in the contract, so it is likely there will be either a coordinated attack by many individuals, or many attacks by a few individuals each.
• Snipe, a long range assassin has shown interest in the job.  This is particularly disturbing since he will be much better trained than simple bandits.
• Semael hasn't kept a low enough profile and may himself be getting into a bit of trouble.

Here's the plan so far:

• Talk to the judge as soon as possible so we can offer our protection
• Figure out how to make the judge's home defensible, or find out if she has another location she would prefer
• Plan to follow her home in order to protect her in transit, but do so without drawing attention
• Be in her home during the night to provide protection.

Let's nail this down so we know exactly what's going on.
